An unlucky Daniil Medvedev found himself wrapped in wrong decisions as he lost an important match at the Rolex Monte Carlo Masters. With the spot in the quarter-finals at stake, the Russian lost a crucial point, en route suffering a disappointing loss.

Medvedev was up against his friend Karen Khachanov.
