Celebrities posting workout videos to Instagram is nothing new. Seeing your favorite stars lift heavy weights, run laps or bend and stretch into an impossible yoga pose can be a source of inspiration to stop scrolling, get off the couch, and get into the gym.

This week, 59-year-old singer Lenny Kravitz shared a glimpse of his fitness routine that proves he hasn’t missed a beat – and that he’s probably the coolest dude on the planet.

On April 9, the rocker posted a video of himself in the gym. Working out with a trainer, he’s busting out a set of sit ups on a decline bench while lifting what looks like a pretty heavy set of weights. The exercises alone are impressive. But the sexy singer, who has always known how to put on a show caused jaws to drop with his workout attire, choosing a mesh tank, leather pants, combat boots and sunglasses over sweats and sneakers.

“Thank God for today! Grateful. Never been better. There are no shortcuts so seize your day. It is all possible. Love!” the “Are You Gonna Go My Way” singer captioned the post. 

After watching (and rewatching) Kravitz’s video – which has received over 360,000 likes so far – we had to dive into the comments. And of course, they did not disappoint.

“Reasons why I haven’t started working out: 1. I don’t own any leather pants. Yea that’s it.” and “Feel free to replace that dumbbell with me at any point in time,” are just a few of our favorites.

Kravitz even impressed some celebrities who shared their comments on his post.

“Man! Boots and leather pants while working out is crazy! Always on brand! 🔥🔥” wrote D-Nice. “This workout outfit is hard af,” wrote Willow Smith.
