Monster-taming game for 1-3 players
We are currently developing a new game called Runemon. It’s a monster-taming adventure for 1-3 players. The main features of the game are exploring the world, catching new monsters and battling with other adventurers.
We are currently considering creating around 200 monsters for the game. A small number of them will be legendaries which we’ll make hard to find and catch. As for types, there will be 9, the main elements (water, fire, earth, air) and a few others.
The battles will be up to 3 vs 3 as there can be 3 players. This makes having roles like DPS, tank, healer and support in your squad important. Some monsters are naturally better in certain roles, for example, a turtle would be a great tank.
We are pretty much making a game for ourselves. We like a bit of a challenge, a good story and the ability to play through the entire game with friends.
