- A Nissan 350Z flipped and landed on a white 2015 Chevrolet Camaro Z28, causing significant damage to the roof and driver’s side.
- A rare configuration, the Chevy muscle car appears as though it was unrepairable.
- However, people who claim to have knowledge of the Camaro’s fate after the accident claim that it was not just fixed, but also sold.
It’s always sad when a rare and special sports car meets its end, but it’s even more tragic when it’s another sports car that deals the blow. In this instance, a Nissan 350Z reportedly ended up atop a white 2015 Chevrolet Camaro Z28, crushing its roof in the process. Remarkably, according to eyewitnesses, the Camaro somehow managed to survive the ordeal.
As per a member of the Camaro Fest Facebook page, the crash occurred in Mission, Texas at Spikes Ford. Allegedly, the original owner traded the Chevy muscle car to the dealer after driving it for only around 300 miles (just over 480 km). Sometime before the dealer sold it, the accident happened.

Photos shared on the post from that fateful night shows the Nissan sports car lying upside down on top of the Camaro. It’s unclear what led to the accident or what happened to the Nissan driver or the 350Z after the fact. However, the damage to the Camaro is very well documented.
The entire driver’s side has significant damage including to the door, both fenders, and windows. The roof is pancaked onto the cabin itself with the worst damage toward the rear driver’s side. Both the front and rear windshields are completely destroyed. At the same time, it appears as though the wheels and tires survived without issue. In fact, the passenger side of the car almost looks untouched.
Perhaps that was enough salvageable sheet metal for a repair to go forward. That’s what one person tells the Camaro Fest Facebook group. “Believe it or not, they fixed this, and sold it,” the post says. Whether or not that happened is tough to say for sure.
Another individual, who seems to have initially shared the photos, replied to the post with “true story.” Additionally, someone else mentioned, “For everyone wondering, it turned out really good and could hardly tell it was in an accident. Carfax showed an accident at the dealer but was still a clean title.” They even included an alleged photo of the car in question.
Due to some skepticism, we attempted to contact all parties involved, including the individuals mentioned in the post, the dealer, and even the Mission Police Department, in hopes of obtaining further details. Unfortunately, none of them have responded to our inquiries. As of now, no additional information has been provided. Rest assured, if we receive any updates, we will promptly share them.
