Though we have become somewhat accustomed to Karens having outbursts in public being caught on camera, a Black woman has gone viral for having an alarming meltdown on a Spirit Airlines flight.

The footage, which is from March 23, shows the woman in the process of being removed from a flight to Las Vegas. At the start of the video, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police officers had already approached the woman although it is unknown what led to them being called.

The law enforcement officials attempted to handcuff her before she rebuffs them. “I didn’t scare anyone, them people are already scared!” she said. “It’s Congo and Palestine. What the f**k are we scared of? …. I don’t wanna go to jail, fatso…I can walk out on my own. Why are you doing that … Why are you acting like I’m a rascal?”

Two officers handcuffed her as her fellow passengers recorded the disturbing scene. An officer told her she is under arrest in which she replied “That’s fine. I’ve been there before.” Then she started yelling in the video. “I’ve f***ing been there before. This s**t hurts my elbow, it’s hurting my wrist,” she screamed.

“You’re hurting me, sheriff! You’re hurting me, sheriff,” she continued before letting out a slew of screams. “I can’t breathe. Why are you touching my leg,” she stated.

She repeated “I can’t breathe,” referencing George Floyd’s final words, right before a flight attendant is heard informing passengers that they will need to “deplane the aircraft.” Upon hearing the announcement, they let out a loud groan.

“I’m sorry, but guys, these people are terrible!” the woman said at the end of the video as another passenger tells her to “Get off the plane!” It’s clear the woman was going through some sort of mental health episode—we’re just glad this had a safe outcome for everyone involved.
