‘They’ve been discontinued’, cry Walkers fans over ‘god tier’ crisps – but flavour’s still in Costcutter & Morrisons
WALKERS fans were heartbroken when the brand announced they were discontinuing their “god tier” flavour crisps.
But a Facebook user has saved them from despair and revealed that a version of the beloved snack can still be bought in Costcutter and Morrisons.

Walkers Marmite flavoured crisps were axed at the end of 2023 after being on the shelves for 20 years – sending fans into panic mode.
Upon hearing the news one person wrote: “I can’t cope will have to stock up,” and another said: ” I love them, gutted.”
“Walkers crisps stopping Marmite crisps?? Won’t buy any walkers crisps from now,” added a third.
But now it seems all hope is not lost as Marmite has teamed up with Tayto Group to launch a range of branded crisps and snacks.

CRISPS COMEBACK
Not only have the crisps made a comeback but there are also “yummy” tortilla chips on offer.
The moorish goodies can be bought from Custcutter, Morrisons and Sainsbury’s and fans have flocked to social media to share their delight.
“I Love marmite Goodies,” said one, “Need to try those bad boys,” added another.
A third wrote: “I need these in my life,” and a fourth offered: “I bet these are really nice.”

In October Walkers axed its hugely popular Worcester sauce flavour and fans claimed “their sandwiches were ruined.”
Fans also said goodbye to Max Fiercely Flamin Hot crisps in November as well as the Beef and Onion flavour.

In December Walkers discontinued its Sensations Regal Lamb and Mint crisps.
It comes as retro food fans will be pleased to know that some of their favourite “nostalgic” snacks are back on the shelves.
