Dofus Touch mobile MMORPG relaunches with international focus

Ankama is relaunching its free-to-play mobile MMORPG, Dofus Touch, with more features that will help expand its international reach. Starting today, independent Roubaix, France-based developer has added a new English language server and revamped its early game experience and UI.

In Dofus Touch, players delve into the World of Twelve and unravel the mysteries and lore surrounding its titular dragon eggs. Since originally launching in 2016, Ankama has built up Dofus Touch with plenty of content including thousands of quests and over 70 dungeons to explore. The tactical, turn-based combat and 15 playable classes will challenge players and keep the game feeling fresh.

Players can explore the World of Twelve (in English) starting today.

While the Dofus is relatively unknown outside of French-speaking countries, Ankama has successfully piloted the franchise for two decades. In addition to Dofus Touch, the developer also has the original PC-based MMORPG, its sequel Wakfu and a PvP arena title in the franchise. In 2010, the original title had 30 million registered users and 3.5 million active subscribers.

Moreover, Dofus Touch serves as the prequel for the long-running Wakfu animated series. The most recent season launched on Netflix in February 2024.
