Star men

Martin Odegaard has been key to Arsenal’s devastating attacking form this year.

The Norwegian midfielder has excelled in his role as captain, with the Gunners skipper starting attacks from deep as well as chipping in with goals and assists.

Odegaard, who impressed against City despite being frustrated going forward, has scored nine goals and added seven assists across all competitions this season.

He will face an intriguing midfield battle with Luton’s Ross Barkley on Wednesday, though.

Barkley has been a standout performer for the Hatters since joining the club in Luton.

His four goals and six assists include a strike in the 4-3 home loss to Arsenal in December.
