Grigor Dimitrov crowns Jannik Sinner as ‘the best player in the world’ but refrains from comparing the youngster to the Big 3

Bulgarian tennis star Grigor Dimitrov had no hesitation in crowning Jannik Sinner as the “best player in the world” after the Italian won the title in Miami. As Sinner beat Dimitrov in straight sets of 6-3, 6-1 in the 2024 Miami Open final, the Bulgarian ace was asked if Sinner is playing at a level the Big Three used to play.

To this, Dimitrov had a diplomatic answer ready. The 32-year-old said that the Italian is playing at a completely different level but he should not be compared to anyone. Dimitrov lauded Sinner for his focus, determination, and dominance on the court.
