‘Minutes may be all he has left’: relatives of Hamas hostages describe ordeal – video

The relatives of hostages held by the militant group Hamas have described their anguish at a press conference after attending meetings with the UK prime minister, Rishi Sunak. Sharon Lifschitz, whose father, Oded, is being held by Hamas, said ‘I think about him the whole day’ and expressed her worry over his mental state. Her mother, Yocheved, was freed by Hamas on 23 October on humanitarian grounds. There are believed to be 136 hostages still in Gaza after being taken from Israel on 7 October
