PIERS Morgan has revealed he had a very awkward airport run-in with I’m A Celebrity’s Matt Hancock today.
The TalkTV star arrived back in London from a brief working trip to Qatar at the same time the jungle runner-up touched down from his stint in Australia.
Firebrand Piers has been vocal in his criticism of the shamed MP’s participation in the ITV jungle show.
And he gleefully told his Twitter followers that he made sure Matt was well aware.
He wrote: “Just bumped into Matt Hancock at Heathrow. I told him I’d been giving him a good kicking the entire time he was in the jungle. He said he knew. It was the purest personification of #Awks.”
Former health secretary Matt stayed back in Australia while girlfriend Gina Coladangelo headed home with Queen of the Jungle Jill Scott and the star’s fiance Shelly Unitt.
But he probably wishes he’d hopped on an earlier flight after the terse conversation.
The silver lining for Matt is the delay will have boosted his already bulging bank balance.
He stayed behind for a big-money deal interview after finishing third.
