Ohio State basketball 5-star target to announce college choice Sunday
The Ohio State basketball team is fresh off of a major commitment from 4-star small forward Devin Royal this past week, but now it’s time to turn our attention to another potential BOOM!
High 4-star small forward Scotty Middleton, out of Wichita, Kansas, will let the college basketball world know on Sunday at 8 p.m. ET, where he will be performing athletic feats of endeavors. And yes, the Buckeyes are expected to be in the thick of the announcement.
According to the 247Sports Composite Rankings, Middleton is ranked as the No. 34 national prospect and the sixth-ranked small forward in the country. Middleton is a 5-star prospect according to the ESPN Top 100.
I’ll be committing Sunday 8pm still on live with Paul @PaulBiancardi 🙏🏽🙏🏽
According to the tweet shared by Middleton, you can follow along with his announcement by pulling up the Twitter account of former OSU assistant and current recruiting guru, Paul Biancardi. Currently, the Crystal Balls point toward a big day for the Buckeyes, but UConn and Seton Hall are also in the mix.
The Ohio State recruiting class of 2023 is already a top five one with the three commitments it has, and getting another highly-sought after prospect would significantly boost the class up even further.
