BRITAIN is to be hit with freezing temperatures as cold air from the Arctic arrives next month.
The wintry conditions could bring snow in northwestern regions of England by the second week of November.
Brian Gaze, forecaster at The Weather Outlook said: “The latest GEFS35 finishes week beginning 25/11 with a significant cold anomaly (850hPa level) across much of Europe.
“I’d suggest keeping an eye on updates in the coming days to see if this becomes a pattern.”
This comes as the Met Office issued ‘danger to life’ warnings for parts of the country as Britain is set to be hit by nearly a foot of rain.
So far, this month is expected to be the wettest October in 150 years, as the Met Office has issued flood warnings for parts of the country.
