The Audi E-Tron hasn’t sold in the numbers the German car manufacturer was probably hoping for but if you live in the U.S., you can buy a new 2021 model with a very generous discount.
For 2021, Audi introduced a new entry-level variant of the E-Tron that starts at $65,900, a significant $8,900 less than the most affordable 2020 model. More expensive variants are offered that start as high as $79,100.
According to Cars Direct, all 2021 Audi E-Tron models are currently eligible for a $7,500 leasing bonus that reflects the full value of the federal EV tax credit. In addition, Premium Plus models are available with $2,000 worth of lease bonus cash while the flagship Prestige variant has a bonus cash offer of $3,000, bringing combined savings for this model up to $10,500.
What’s more, Audi is also offering a $1,500 Season of Audi Credit for shoppers looking to buy or lease by January 4, meaning savings can be as high as $12,000 for shoppers.
Audi E-Tron Sportback models are available with the $7,500 leasing bonus and the $1,500 Season of Audi Credit.
In creating the new entry-level variant of the E-Tron, Audi removed the Matrix LED headlights and the Bang & Olufsen sound system, among other things. Despite this, it was able to increase the range of the all-electric SUV by 18 miles (29 km). To achieve this improvement in range, Audi increased the useable portion of the 95 kWh battery pack by almost 3.0 kWh up to 86.5 kWh.
