Good Morning Britain host Ranvir Singh apologised to co-host Sean Fletcher today after her dog humped his leg.
Randy pup Shmizzles gave Sean more than he bargained for in the pre-show meeting.
While viewers were spared watching the dog’s thrusts, a clip of Sean and Shmizzles playing innocently as a smiling Ranvir watched was shown.
In the studio, Ranvir said: “I feel I owe you an apology, Sean. There was a slightly over-amorous incident that occurred this morning… completely not of Sean’s doing.
“You were humped by my dog.”
The clip from the green room showed the pup “flirting” with Sean.
Attempting to explain Shmizzles’ behaviour, he said: “She really liked the smell of me, I think because I’ve got a dog.
“I’ve got a girl dog and you’ve got a boy dog, and that’s when the humping started.”
Shmizzles wasn’t the only one to take a liking to the handsome presenter, with Ranvir admitting she has a soft spot for him too.
“You’re deflecting here,” she teased. “We all have over-amorous feelings towards you, Sean. I’m not wrong, am I Laura? We all feel amorous towards Sean.”
Sean laughed off the compliment and said while he liked the pup, he drew the line at the X-rated antics.
He said: “He’s a beautiful dog, but when he started humping me I thought we crossed the line. I’m not having that.”
