The officer was reportedly found by her fellow-cop girlfriend in the living room of their home in Throggs Neck in The Bronx.

A source said that Fantauzzi, 39, left behind a note that mentioned problems with the relationship.

She was at least the second cop in the city to have committed suicide this year.

In mid-February, 53-year-old NYPD Detective Paul Federico was found hanging in his mother’s Queens home in Middle Village.
