Rumor: Apple Will Soon Seed First Beta of iOS 13.4.1

Apple will soon be releasing the first beta of iOS 13.4.1 with some bug fixes in the coming days. The report also claims that there will not be another major iOS 13 point release from Apple this year.

The Cupertino company released the iOS 13.4 update to the public earlier this month. iOS 13.4 was a pretty major update that introduced iCloud Folder Sharing, new Memojis, and more. As far as iOS 13.4.1 is concerned, it will in all likelihood be a bug fixing release as the naming scheme suggests. If Apple launches an iOS 13.4.1 beta program this week, the final version of the OS should be released to the public in the second half of April.

Apple has never released a major .5 release of iOS in the last few years. So, it is also understandable that the company will not be releasing iOS 13.5 this year. Instead, the company has likely turned its attention towards iOS 14 that would be announced at WWDC 2020. Apple is not going to hold a physical WWDC event this year, but it will be holding the event virtually. Plenty of iOS 14 features have already been detailed including a new AR app, a new Fitness app offering guided workouts, improved OCR capabilities for Apple Pencil, a slightly revamped home screen, and more.
