Ferrari’s may be most synonymous with red but this Portofino from the marque’s Tailor Made program shows that dark green can also look very nice on sports cars like this.
The finish certainly wouldn’t be to everyone’s taste but we happen to think it works well with Ferrari;s most affordable new model.
On the outside, we can see that the green paint has been contrasted by a silver of silver five-spoke wheels while there are a pair of racing stripes running over the bonnet. In addition, the A-pillars and roof are finished in white to give the car an intriguing two-tone look that would really make it stand out on the street.
The color theme continues in the cabin where there is dark green leather across the lower portion of the dashboard and across the seats. Contrasting the green leather parts are white accents and piping to mimic the exterior finish as well as a number of black leather sections.
The Ferrari Portofino was introduced as the replacement to the California T and features a 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 engine offering up 592 hp and 561 lb-ft (760 Nm) of torque. This engine is coupled to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission driving the rear wheels and allowing the droptop to hit 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.5 seconds and a top speed exceeding 199 mph (320 km/h).
