Declan Donnelly takes adorable pooch out for walk during virus lockdown

TINY Dec’s always been closer to the ground than co-host Ant, so it’s no surprise he loves walkies with his short-legged pooch.

The Geordie, 44, must have been a bit hot in a black bodywarmer as he and wife Ali Astall, 42, took dachshund Rocky for a walk in West London.

He’s pre-recorded this week’s Saturday Night Takeaway so at least that heat’s off.

Yesterday, Ant and Dec begged fans to stay home to help protect those at particular high risk of the COVID-19 pandemic.

They threw their support behind four-year-old Mila Sneddon – who has a vulnerable immune system and is currently undergoing cancer treatment –  in a clip shared online.

In the video, which shows the stars sitting separately, the pair beg for “everybody stay at home”.

Ant said: “Hi everybody Ant and Dec here, not together because we’re at home like everybody should be.”

Dec added: “Absolutely, and as we heard Mila wants us to tell everybody to stay at home so we can protect her and thousands and thousands people like her.”

Mila had previously requested for the duo to do their part for coronavirus in an interview with ITV news.
