Star Trek: Picard debuted a couple weeks ago, and is already receiving mostly positive reviews from fans and critics.

The show, starring Patrick Stewart as Picard, takes place 20 years after Star Trek: Nemisis, and 14 years after Picard’s retirement from Starfleet. It’s quite a bit different from The Next Generation, tackling a galaxy-wide conspiracy/mystery in a serialized format.

CBS All Access is the only place to watch the entire run of Star Trek: Picard, but for a limited time you can watch the premiere on YouTube.

In fact, you can watch it right here:

CBS hasn’t said how long that this free episode will be available, and frankly I think they should just make it free forever. What better way to get people to subscribe to CBS All Access, even if they end up only subscribing while the show is running. Maybe they’ll come back for Discovery?

So far, I really like Picard. I’ve seen the first three episodes and I’m sad I have to wait so long to see the fourth. You can read my review of the first episode here, and the second episode here. Episode 3 comes out next Thursday.

What’s your take on Picard? Let me know on Twitter or Facebook.
