Crazy video shows deer charge man in McDonald’s parking lot: ‘Didn’t spill my Coke!’

An unsuspecting man walking out of a North Carolina McDonald’s was charged by a deer and left uninjured in a stunning incident captured on video.

Ken Worthy, the man who survived the attack on Jan. 22, posted the harrowing video on Facebook earlier this week.

The man was leaving the McDonald’s in Locust, North Carolina, “with Coke’s in hand.”

“What happened next I would have never believed. Life is crazy sometimes,” he wrote on Facebook.

The video shows Worthy in the parking lot when the deer appears in the top of the frame. The animal moves quickly as it leaps up and knocks Worthy to the ground before darting off.

The woman alongside Worthy comes to his aid as they stand stunned in the parking lot and look toward the direction the deer ran.

“God is good ALL the time! Not injured,” Worthy wrote. “PS: Didn’t spill my coke!”

Gwen Shelton, a manager at the McDonald’s, said the man came back into the restaurant to see if there was video of the chance encounter.

“He couldn’t believe it,” Shelton said. “He was laughing.”
