Murray set to miss US Open singles

The former world number one, who had hip resurfacing surgery in January, will play doubles alongside Spain’s Feliciano Lopez at the Fever-Tree Championships at Queen’s Club in London next week.

But Murray, 32, said he still has “quite a lot of work to do” before he can be competitive in singles again.
